COVID-19 – New Protocols For Health & Safety

We thought it would be helpful to share with you some of the important changes you may encounter during your next visit at O'Hair Spa.

There is still some uncertainty as to what measures we may need to have in place, these are some the issues that we feel are important to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of yourselves and our team.

Salon thoroughly cleaned & disinfected

We will ensure that the salon is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to re-opening. The salon will be continuously cleaned and sterilised throughout the day, and we will make sure that everything we use in regards to equipment will be sterilised before and after every appointment. Every section will be cleaned down and maintained throughout your service.

Social Distancing Measures

We will have distance between our work stations depending on official guidelines. There will be a one way system in place, all will be clearly marked out. We do ask that you attend your appointments on your own as we will not be able to accommodate partners, children or friends unless they have an appointment with a different stylist at the same time. Appointment times and spaces will be limited so we can ensure the social distancing measures are followed safely and correctly.

Every client will require An Individual PPE

We will be providing every client with their own PPE Pack. This will contain a clean/disposable gown, disposable cutting/coloring cape, 2 x disposable towels, a pair of disposable gloves and a face mask. There will be a £3.00 surcharge to cover the cost of these items. I’m sure you will understand, as this is an additional cost to us to be able to carry out your service safely. Alongside this your Stylist/therapist will also use new PPE for each client to ensure no cross contamination can take place.

Personal One To One Appointments

All appointments may be single bookings. This means that we may not be taking appointments between colour services. This will obviously limit the availability of appointments per day, this will enable us to limit the number of clients in the salon at any one time. Single bookings will enable us to clean and sanitise our equipment and work stations. We will be working rota patterns potentially over six days a week in order to accommodate as many Clients as possible as we know you are all desperate to see us.

COVID - 19 Price Adjustment

There will be a one off increase to our services. As we will be spending longer on your service as it wont be your usual 4-6 week tidy up. We have also taken into consideration extra colour being used and the additional time needed for this services. We will ensure you are all aware of the increase prior to your Appointment.
